Editorial Policy
This page explains how New Sister Site is funded, how that funding relates to what we publish, and what independence means in practice on a site like this one.
How we’re funded
New Sister Site earns commission through affiliate partnerships with some of the UK-licensed (UKGC) casinos and bingo sites we review. If you sign up to one of these operators after clicking a link on this site, we may receive a payment from that operator or its affiliate network. This is how the site stays free to use and how we fund the research — licence checks, ownership tracing, and account testing — that goes into every review. It costs you nothing extra to sign up through our links.
What that does not affect
Affiliate relationships do not determine which brands we choose to cover, what UKGC licence details or sister-site connections we report, or the tone of a review. A brand paying us commission gets exactly the same scrutiny of its licence, ownership structure, and bonus terms as one that doesn’t pay us anything. Where we identify problems with a brand — a lapsed licence, a misleading bonus term, an unlicensed operator, a network with a poor track record — we say so regardless of any commercial relationship, and we won’t remove a critical detail because an operator would prefer we didn’t publish it.
Offshore and non-UKGC brands
We review some casinos that hold no UK Gambling Commission licence, operating instead under regimes such as Curaçao, Kahnawake, or Anjouan. These pages are published as background research and a warning for UK readers, not a recommendation, and we do not place affiliate or promotional links on them. The reason we cover them at all is that UK players searching for a specific brand deserve accurate information about who runs it and its licensing status, rather than silence. See our How We Review page for full detail on how we treat these brands differently from UKGC-licensed ones.
Sponsored content and advertorials
We do not currently publish sponsored articles or paid placements dressed up as independent reviews. If that ever changes, any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as such at the top of the page.
Corrections
We aim to keep licence numbers, ownership details, and sister-site listings accurate and current, and we periodically re-check our most-visited pages against the UKGC public register. If you find an error — an out-of-date licence number, a closed brand still listed as live, an incorrect ownership link — please contact us with details and we’ll investigate and correct it.
